Science Club

This student-led initiative evolved into a club for Grade 3 students, which began in November and will run until February. Students engage in a variety of hands-on science experiments, including making paper airplanes, exploring the "walking water" experiment, creating slime, and more. It's an exciting way for students to explore science through fun, interactive activities!

Grade 1, 2 & 3 Lego Club began in November and will run until February. Students gather in the gym and use Lego sacs (generously provided by school council) to build creative lego projects. Each grade meets once a week. It’s a fun, hands-on opportunity for students to explore their creativity and work together on exciting builds.

Borden Ball

In December, Grade 2 & 3 students had the chance to play Borden Ball, a team sport that combines elements of basketball, soccer, and rugby, designed to encourage teamwork. In Borden Ball, players can hold the ball for only 3 seconds and take a maximum of 3 steps, making passing a key part of the game. Each class played once a week, giving students the opportunity to team up with peers from different classes and strengthen new friend connections. In grade 4, students will have the chance to compete against other schools in borden ball so this helps bring some familiarity to the sport.
